A-frame build guide

See an A-frame come together, then build your own concept

This muted reference starts at the framing portion. Tiny Home Tool follows a similar plain-language sequence so each design choice appears when it makes sense.

The guided build sequence

1. Platform

Set the footprint and floor height, then review preliminary piers, built-up beams, flush-hung joists and floor sheathing.

2. Shell and openings

Raise a classic or knee-wall A-frame, add the loft, and frame doors and windows before wall and roof sheathing.

3. Dry-in and finish

Add roofing, edge trim, ridge cap, siding, interior coverings, flooring and furniture.
