Is Tiny Home Tool free?
You can design, view the 3D model and review the live material estimate for free. When live billing is connected, Finish design will offer Tiny Home Tool Pro at $1.99 for the first 30 days, then $9.99/month until canceled. Pro unlocks generated drawing sets, cut sheets, detailed store material packages, project files, images and tours while active.
Are the blueprints permit-ready?
No. They are concept and pre-application drawings. Your building department may use them to understand the project, but can require site-specific plans, engineering and sealed documents.
Can I change material prices?
Yes. The editable spreadsheet in the complete package is designed so you can replace default unit prices with local store or lumberyard quotes.
Does the material list include fasteners and roof accessories?
It includes preliminary allowances for hangers and compatible fasteners, framing nails, structural screws, underlayment, drip edge, rake trim, ridge cap, closure strips and roof screws when those scopes are selected.
How do accounts and projects work?
Designs save to the site's Cloudflare D1 database. A verified passwordless email account can own multiple named builds and reopen them from the dashboard. The browser keeps only session/project identifiers and convenience preferences rather than serving as the permanent design database.
Can I design plumbing or electrical systems?
No. Tiny Home Tool currently focuses on the building shell, interior partitions, surface finishes, furniture and material planning. It does not produce plumbing, electrical or mechanical plans.
